  • Why can't I access some of the pages on the website?
    Some of the pages on my websites are behind a paywall and can only be accessed once you have purchased a Premium Plan and signed in on the website. This gives you access to hundreds more videos explaining everything you'll need to do the best in your physics exams. You can learn more about my Premium Plans below!
  • I think I've spotted a mistake on the website or in a video?
    Please let me know! Spelling mistakes, broken links, or any other issues you find with the website, are easily fixed once I know about it. This will make the website more user friendly for the thousands of other students who will be using it in the future. Just email me at hello@physicsonline.com
  • I've subscribed to your YouTube channel, what's the point of buying a Premium Plan?"
    Most of my freely available videos are uploaded onto the Physics Online YouTube channel, however this does not include the hundreds of extra videos often covering the harder aspects of the Physics curriculum.
  • Can I access all of the content on my phone as well as on a computer?
    YES! All of the content on my website can be viewed on mobile devices, tablets and computers!
  • What do all the different colours mean?
    I use bright colours to help students navigate the content I produce. Each topic I have assigned a different colour, you can see how this works when you visit an exam board page and begin to select topics.   • Are you GDPR compliant?
    Yes. You can view the full privacy policy here.
  • What is a Premium Plan and how long do they last?
    I have Premium Plans available for both my GCSE and A Level websites. You can find out more about the GCSE Premium Plan here, or the A Level Premium Plan here.
  • I have a question about the websites but I can't see the answer in these FAQ's?

  • Do you do personal 1-to-1 tuition?
    Unfortunately I don't offer 1-to-1 tuition, as I focus my time and energy on developing my physics websites, videos and resources so that I can help the maximum number of students at once.
  • Are you a real Physics Teacher?
    I was previously a Head of Physics at a school in Bath, and then moved school to become Head of Science. I've since left teaching full-time to continue working on videos and resources for these websites.
  • I've got a suggestion for your websites or videos, how can I share my idea with you?"
    New ideas are always welcome, please send me an email at hello@physicsonline.com . I can't promise that I will do them all, but any suggestions are more than welcome!
  • I've got an issue with an order I placed with your online shop?

  • Can you help me with a physics question that I'm stuck on?
    It’s great to receive so many questions about all aspects of Physics, however I'm not able to answer individual questions from students (unless it is in my livestreams!). If you need help with a specific question, please visit my websites where hundreds of videos are organised by exam board and topic and these will help you understand this part of the course a little better. If you find yourself still struggling with the questions it may be worth approaching your Physics Teacher for more support and guidance.
  • My school has purchased a whole school subscription but I can't remember the school login details?
    Please contact your science teacher who will have all the login details you'll need to access the website. Unfortunately I can't grant students access to school logins
  • What does a GCSE Student Premium Plan include?
    A GCSE Student Premium Plan gives you the best chance at understanding topics fully and boosting your exam grade. It includes access to hundreds of extra videos often covering the harder topics of the course.
  • How long does a GCSE Student Premium Plan last?
    A GCSE Student Premium Plan lasts for 3 years (36 months). This means, whether you purchase one in Year 9, 10 or 11, you'll know you have access until your final exams are over!
  • How much does a GCSE Student Premium Plan cost?
    A GCSE Student Premium Plan costs just £35. This is a one-off payment and won't automatically charge you again, so you don't need to worry about cancelling your plan at the end of the course.
  • How does the GCSE Physics Online website work?
    If you're struggling to use the website, head to this page and have a look around at the pointers of how the website works.
  • What does an A Level Student Premium Plan include?
    An A Level Student Premium Plan gives you the best chance at understanding topics fully and boosting your exam grade. It includes access to hundreds of extra videos covering the Year 13 topics of the course.
  • How long does an A Level Student Premium Plan last?
    An A Level Student Premium Plan lasts for 2 years (24 months), so whether you purchase in Year 12 or 13 you'll know you have access until your final exams are over!
  • How much does an A Level Student Premium Plan cost?
    An A Level Student Premium Plan costs just £45. This is a one-off payment and won't automatically charge you again, so you don't need to worry about cancelling your plan at the end of the course.
  • What is a School Subscription?
    A school subscription to either GCSE Physics Online, A Level Physics Online or both, provides an affordable and effective platform to increase attainment and confidence for your students, whilst providing PGCE, NQT and non-specialist teachers, content and resources to draw upon. It gives you access to every video we've produced for all of your students .
  • How long do School Subscriptions last for?
    They last for either 1 or 2 years, you can find more info about them here.
  • How much does a School Subscription cost and are there discounts available?
    The costs can vary depending on a number of factors, the latest prices can be found here. There are discounts applied depending on the duration of the school subscription and FSM % in the school.
  • How does my school pay for a School Subscription?
    Once you have filled out the online form here, we'll send through an invoice to your school's finance department to be paid by BACS. If you require an estimate for a purchase order, this can be arranged too. If you have any more questions feel free to email me at hello@physicsonline.com
  • Can I embed your videos onto a school VLE?
    Please do share the videos with your students if you're a teacher. There are hundred of freely available videos hosted on YouTube so these videos can be embedded within you school website or VLE. You can also embed the free webpages. For example, if you use Firefly you simply copy the URL and embed it within a page created within the VLE. Please contact me to find out more about using these videos on your VLE.
  • Do your videos work outside of the UK?
    Although the videos were developed primarily for the GCSEs taken in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, they are also suitable for students all around the world – especially students taking international IGCSEs. As long as you can view videos on YouTube and Vimeo then you’ll be fine.
  • Do you do one-off talks, appearances or conferences?"
